Electrovaya Receives Ontario Global Traders Awardfor Innovation From The Province Of Ontario

Toronto, Ontario –Electrovaya Inc. (TSX: EFL), a technology leader in mobile power, recently received the Innovation Award from the Province of Ontario at the Ontario Global Traders Award Ceremony in May.This is Electrovaya’s second award this year for the application of its lithium-ion SuperPolymer™ rechargeable battery technology. The Company also received the Editor’s Choice Best Peripheral Equipment Solution Award from Positive Image News and Reviews at Comdex© Chicago, 2002.

The Ontario Global Traders Award for Innovation recognizes excellence in applying technology to the development of new products that have led to both export growth and job creation. “Our small and medium-sized companies are exporting the very best that Ontario has to offer to buyers all over the world,” said Jim Flaherty, Ontario Minister of Enterprise, Opportunity and Innovation.
