Steven Berkenfeld is a seasoned finance and clean energy executive with more than 30 years at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, including 11 years as a managing director in investment banking. He co-led Barclays’ Cleantech Initiative and was a senior sponsor of its Social Impact Banking Initiative, advising emerging industrial technology companies. Previously, he held multiple senior leadership roles at Lehman Brothers, including chief investment officer of the private equity division. Berkenfeld also served as a board member and chair of the Sierra Club Foundation.
