New Powerpad 120 Battery To Power Portable Computersfor 8 – 12 Hours

Electrofuel Inc. (TSE:EFL) announced today plans to enhance itsproduct line with the addition of the PowerPad 120, a new external lithium ion SuperPolymer battery forportable computers. The new PowerPad 120 comes in a compact form factor at 8¾” by 11¾” by only 3/8”thin, weighs less than 2 lbs., and delivers a surprising 8 to 12 hours run time keeping the average user inbusiness and productive all day long without needing to recharge. The PowerPad 120 complementsElectrofuel’s PowerPad 160, which powers portable computers for up to 16 hours. The PowerPad 120 isdesigned to address the broad mid-tier segment of users, while the PowerPad 160 is designed for moreintensive computer users.

The PowerPad 120 will be showcased for the first time at PC Expo in New York later this month and willbecome commercially available in July 2001. The PowerPad 120 will retail for US$399.
