Electrovaya Inc. (TSX: EFL) will be showcasing its prototype zero-emission vehicle at the Toronto-Dominion Centre Courtyard, in downtown Toronto, from September 13th to 15th, as part of the 2004 Better Transportation Expo.
This prototype, based on Electrovaya’s award winning Lithium Ion Superpolymer® battery technology, has a superior range and performance. With an energy density of over 200 Watt hours per kilogram, Electrovaya’s Lithium Ion Superpolymer® battery is five times lighter than lead acid and takes considerably less space.
“The demand for a clean, emission-free, and non-fossil fueled vehicle has been growing tremendously. The pressure of high gasoline prices, growing asthma rates, and concern about the environment in large urban cities is only increasing. With easily adapted infrastructure and the continued uncertainties of fuel cell vehicles we believe the technology developed by Electrovaya provides the solution.” says Dr. James K. Jacobs, Chief Technology Officer of Electrovaya.
Later this month, Electrovaya will have an exhibitor booth and a speaker slot at the Electric Drive Transportation Association at Orlando, Florida from September 21st to 23rd.
