5th International IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC’09) held in Dearborn, Michigan from September 9-11, 2009. The panel, chaired by Chrysler, also included speakers from GM, Chrysler, State of Michigan and Automotive Partnership Canada.
PHEV’09 held from September 28-30, 2009 in Montreal. Electrovaya presented during the technical workshop on emerging battery technologies for automotive application. Electrovaya also presented during the closing discussion panel on energy storage and electric vehicles alongside Ford, GM, Zenn, Nissan and Toyota.
Concurrent with the PHEV 2009 event, Electrovaya was re-elected Vice-Chair of Electric Mobility Canada (EMC). One of the principal efforts over the last year of EMC has been the development of the “Electric Vehicle Technology Roadmap” to accelerate the introduction of electric traction vehicles in Canada.
