Electrofuel Inc. (TSE: EFL) announced today that Patrick McCool has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Mr. McCool has been actively involved in Electrofuel’s marketing efforts since joining the Corporation in September 2000 and will now, with his sales and marketing team, be responsible for all of Electrofuel’s sales and marketing activities. He has been instrumental in obtaining the purchase orders the Corporation has received to date and is in the process of finalizing a number of other marketing initiatives.
“Patrick McCool was formerly the Executive Vice President of Sales with Mitsubishi Wireless, a global wireless leader, and he has the skills and abilities we need to help market our battery products to notebook computer and cellular telephone users” said Dr. Sankar Das Gupta, President and CEO of Electrofuel. “We have commenced commercial production of our battery products at our first manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario and we look forward, with Pat’s help, to selling our products to a growing list of customers.”
Mr. McCool was previously the Corporation’s Vice President, Sales. David Murdoch, who was the Corporation’s Vice President, Marketing, has resigned for personal reasons.
