Elmira has been with Electrovaya since 2014 and currently leads cell production and development. She has a deep understanding of lithium-Ion battery technology, cell design and development, characterization and certification processes. Throughout the years, she worked on several development projects with cross functional departments within Electrovaya as well as Vendors and Clients. She has been instrumental in managing contract manufacturing sites in addition to the setup of Electrovaya’s facility in Jamestown, New York. Elmira holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Alberta.
