Electrovaya (TSX: EFL) today announced that it has received a Purchase Order (“PO”) for five battery packs for ZEVs from Miljobil Grenland AS (“Miljobil”).
Pursuant to the PO, Electrovaya will provide battery packs for five prototype ZEVs to be tested by Miljobil as part of its longer term plan to commercialize a pure electric vehicle in the Scandinavian countries. Miljobil’s major shareholders, Skagerak Energy and Norsk Hydro, are among the largest energy companies in the world. Miljobil’s objective is to contribute to the improvement of the regional environment by promoting the use of alternative power, including electric vehicles. Discussions are underway with Tata Motors to provide the gliders.
