Toronto, Ontario, — Electrovaya (TSX: EFL) today announced it has received an initial order from a large AUV manufacturing company for its batteries, totaling approximately USD $0.5 million.
Dr. Sankar Das Gupta, CEO of Electrovaya says: “The manufacturer has been testing Electrovaya’s Lithium Ion SuperPolymer® cells in AUVs for over two years, and has subjected them to full depth pressure during operation. Our continued partnership demonstrates the efficacy of our battery solutions for these applications.”
Electrovaya is also participating as an Exhibitor in the Oceans 2007 Exposition in Vancouver beginning September 30, 2007 and ending October 4, 2007. The Conference includes a large exposition on AUVs.
