Toronto, Ontario –Electrovaya Inc. (TSX: EFL) announced today that ithas developed the world’s most mobile Tablet PC, SCRIBBLER, with up to three times morecomputing run time than other Tablet PC’s. SCRIBBLER uses Electrovaya’s patentedSuperPolymer lithium ion battery, with the highest energy density in the world to provide thelongest lasting power on one charge of any Tablet PC announced to date. The battery will powerSCRIBBLER for 10 to 16 hours depending on the applications used.

The Tablet PC product category was designed to provide a higher level of flexibility andmobility than laptops. It runs all the applications people demand of a laptop, but offers greaterportability, as well as pen and speech capabilities and a larger screen than conventional PersonalDigital Assistant devices. Electrovaya’s SCRIBBLER is a superior Tablet PC, with 100 Watthours (Wh) of run time from Electrovaya’s super thin, light-weight SuperPolymer batteryinstead of the standard 20-30 Wh battery. The design, incorporating keyboard and pencapabilities, as well as the batteries, weighs less than four pounds.
Electrovaya provided the original design and the manufacturing will be done by a Tier 1,$7billion Taiwanese ODM. SCRIBBLER will run Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PCEditionusingIntel’s Ultra Low Voltage Intel® Pentium® III 866MHz processor.
