Director of Sales, North America West or National Accounts Manager

Summary of the Role:

Electrovaya is looking for experienced sales persons or national accounts manager with previous experience and knowledge in the motive power and material handling industries, individuals must be highly motivated, target driven, able to work with minimum supervision and must possess enthusiasm and intensity for clean technology solutions achieved by Lithium-ion battery forklift systems designed and developed by Electrovaya.

Ideal candidates are in the following geographical areas to best suit current sales and service goals:

  • Vancouver, BC

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and establish new orders for Electrovaya’s Lithium-ion forklift batteries in the material handling sector
  • Develop sales relationships with major logistics and warehousing operations of major corporations
  • Meet sales and service goals of the company
  • Develop and follow strategies to foster growth for Electrovaya’s Lithium-ion battery presence and sales in assigned geographical area
  • Work closely and target end users using material handling equipment in operations of assigned geographical area
  • Call on end user accounts to manage superior maintenance/troubleshooting/customer services
  • Provide and organize orders, sales and feedback information in desired format by Electrovaya

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of motive power and materials handling products/industry
  • Willingness to learn and provide information about Electrovaya’s Lithium-ion technology, benefits and cost analysis compared to other battery systems
  • Proven record of meeting sales targets and persuasive communication skills
  • Results oriented with high level of initiative
  • Strategic selling skills, negotiating skills and continuous customer communication skills
  • Resourceful and creative in gaining new end user agreements
  • Willingness to immerse oneself in clean technology concepts and industry knowledge and regulations
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic communications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales in an industrial environment/material handling
  • Minimum 5+ years in a direct sales role

Applications Engineer/Technical Sales

Summary of the Role:

Electrovaya is looking for experienced applications engineer or technical sales person with previous experience and knowledge of technical sales of highly complicated engineered products. Individuals must be highly motivated, target driven, able to work with minimum supervision and must possess enthusiasm and intensity for clean technology solutions achieved by Lithium-ion battery systems designed and developed by Electrovaya.
Position would be based at Electrovaya’s HQ in Mississauga, Ontario.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and establish new orders for Electrovaya’s Lithium-ion batteries in the material handling and energy storage sectors
  • Develop and follow strategies to foster growth for Electrovaya’s Lithium-ion battery presence and sales
  • Call on end user accounts to manage superior maintenance/troubleshooting/customer services
  • Provide and organize orders, sales and feedback information in desired format by Electrovaya
  • Manage new and existing sales accounts

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of motive power and materials handling products/industry
  • Willingness to learn and provide information about Electrovaya’s Lithium-ion technology, benefits and cost analysis compared to other battery systems
  • Proven record of meeting sales targets and persuasive communication skills
